Christmas card shoot

 We headed outback today for the Christmas card photo shoot! These didn't make the cut but made me smile noetheless!

We gathered at Bumpa's to celebrate the birthday of one of the best ladies I have ever known

We had supper...

put candles on her cake....

 and made wishes with Mamaw!

 As a special birthday treat, SK played "Happy Birthday" on her guitar for the birthday girl!

 It was precious!

 and she was so proud!

We had waited and waited and it was finally here....Bieber was back in town!

 We headed to the Yum Center...dressed in our finest Bieber duds!

 We found our seats.....

 and waited with love in our hearts....for the one and only Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen

and boy did he make an entrance!

It was a great show and we had the best time...we sang and danced the night away!

 and every moment of the show I thought of Stacy and Caroline......and how much she would give to be laughing and dancing with Caroline...and in the dark of the concert I wept as I danced with my girls...overwhelmed with love and thankfulness for this time with them.

We are very much enjoying the leaves this fall! The girls areing especially enjoy them when we are waiting at the park while the boys are running!

Muhammad Ali Center

I went with the 5th graders to the Muhammad Ali Center today!

It was a very cool place and I really enjoyed hanging out and learning about this legend with Riggs and his buddies!

 They even got in the boxing ring!

 Great day.....with great kids!

Halloween 2012

Halloween fell on a school night this year...bummer!

But we made the most of it for sure!

I had some sweet treats waiting for them when they got off the bus!

And then it was on to costumes! SK chose to go way out side of her box this year...my sweet as sugar girl decided to be bad! She was a dark angel...and she rocked it out!

Can you guess what Lila was? Meow!!!

The cutest kitten ever!

Rollins kept with his Zombie theme and was happy to join SK on the dark side this Halloween!

        and when you are in 5th grade the key is to fit in...Riggs and his buddies all went as morph men!

We stopped by Bumpa's and Mamaw's before the official trick or treating began!

And then we were ready to go!

Mr. Rheinhart attacked the Morph men on the trampoline and sent them on their way for some Halloween fun!

They were all going as a group...sniff...sniff...my first time to not go door to door with Riggs...  :(

The rest of us met up with the Timmerings and all was right with the world!

We decorated the truck...cranked the heat and the music....and went street to street together!

We were cold but truly had a ball!

Finally we called it a night...and headed back to warm houses to count and sort candy!

It was the perfect Halloween!
