A wet Chance Chase!

 As we pulled into Chance School for the 2nd and 3rd grade Chance Chase meet...the sky got dark and the winds kicked up.....

 and then it poured buckets of rain....we sat in our car for at least 30 minutes just waiting...and hoping it would blow over.....

 and finally it did......

 but the storm had damaged our tent...... so sad! :(

 But we were here....wet but here...

 so we made the most of it! Riggs got the little gator boys warmed up.......

 We got on the wet starting line....

 Rollins was ready! This was going to be what we called an "epic battle"...our 3rd graders are all so fast! We just didn't know who was going to win......

 But I know Rollins wanted it to be him.....

 They ran.....we waited....we watched.....

 and our first glimpse out the woods was promising.....with our Goshen boys making a long green line....

 
 and the last time they appeared from the woods....they were still stacked with Rollins leading the pack....

 He wanted it and he tried so hard to get it....tonight it was enough.....he won the Chance Chase just like his brother had done when he was in 3rd grade!

 and our little Gator boys got a perfect score...1,2,3,4,5,6!!!!

 We were so proud of them!!!

 and Rollins was one happy little boy too!

 The boys took first place! Go little Gators!
