We put up the fall decorations....my how they have changed!
and headed to Shelby County for the the first meet for Goshen XC this season! Everyone was excited...and a little nervous too!
We put up the tent and the team gathered together....everyone was so excited!

Rollins was to race first and he was extra nervous!
He had a terrible start...worst one ever...but tried hard make up as much ground as he could in this one mile run.
He finished with a big heart....and lots of tears.....and the promise of a better start next time....
oh and a PR so it wasn't that bad, Rolls! :)

And SK...well she was excited for this...her VERY first meet!
She was all smiles!
And she did it....she ran the whole mile...like a little champ!
We were so proud of her!
She was proud of herself.....
and so excited to see her Daddy after the race.....
Both the boys and girls took first place and it was so sweet to see the smiles of my little runners as they celebrated with their team.....
It was a fun first meet for sure!
