We got up...got ready.... and headed to the airport to go experience Disney magic! We were all very excited!
When we arrived at our hotel we walked user the sign that read:
Let the Memories Begin!
oh how I love Disney!
From our room at the Contemporary we could see the castle at the Magic Kingdom! Lila Ray spotted it right away!
We dropped our stuff and headed right to the Magic Kingdom! Just walking into the the hustle and bustle is amazing! You can feel the energy in the air!
Lila Ray was a little overwhelmed....
I don't think she could believe she was here....that castle loomed right in front of her and for a few minutes she just couldn't look at it.....
We headed to the rides.....the Magic Carpet ride first!
One ride and Lila Ray was hooked!
Then It's a Small World, of course!
Then it was off to do Ryan's first Roller Coaster...The Big Thunder Railroad! He was excited and nervous....
He loved it!
We just rode and smiled all day long and ended the night with the light parade! I could have died right there...just watching Lila and Sarah Kate squeal and point as the Disney characters passed by us...their faces all lit up...both from the lights and from their excitement!
Even Snow White was all lit up!
It was a pile of knees and elbows sitting on the Disney pavement....and I will never forget it!
Then it was off to watch WISHES at the castle.....the castle so magical as it turns colors in the night! And you wait and you wait and finally Tinkerbell...all lit up... flies across the sky!
We ended the night with supper at the Fish House...and then it was off to bed to get ready for day 2!
