We have worked on this fall festival for almost a year.....Jenna has put her heart into every detail of it and I have been right beside her. We started making it all come together into a reality with the first ever haunted house...or light less literature tour in our haunted library! Hours and hours of work and rolls and rolls of tape later we transformed the library into something spectacular!
On the day of...sure there were a few glitches...our stage was a truck...but with a yellow skirt and some hay and balloons it was perfect!
the foyer was transformed for photo shoots....
We literally worked all day...non stop...to get this together! At the last minute Jenna and I ran to the bathroom in the school together...put on fresh deodorant...sprayed the strongest smelling body spray we could find all over us...changed.... and were back out the door to welcome everyone to the festival!
I was over joyed to welcome my littles to this event...it's why you work so tirelessly....for these sweet faces!
I was also the auction chair so I asked dad to come be my auctioneer....
Jeremy who had been gone all week....was home! He was able to stop by for 10 minutes before he had to leave and go back to work for the rest of the night! So sad!
A year in the making....and it all payed off into one perfect, fun night! We did it all...Lila loved the pony rides the best!
Everyone loved the Haunted House! It was a big hit!
SK loved the cake walk! She played it over and over....
so hopeful!
until finally she won!!! She chose Halloween cupcakes!
We hung out with friends on hay bales.....
Had a successful auction....
Enjoyed our family......
and new friends.....
we slid....played football.....danced....painted pumpkins....played games....and rocked glow stick necklaces!
It was just so much fun!!!!
We were the last in line to get our faces painted....Lila was beyond excited to be transformed into a puppy!
JuJu chose to be a puppy too!
It was a success! I am so proud of Jenna! It was an amazing night and we raised a lot of money for the school!
