1st grade Crayon Factory

The First "Gators" have been working so hard making beautiful crayons for their crayon factory! 

These crayons are called Gator Doodles!

They have taken old crayons and melted them into new ones...shaped like everything from mustaches to sea horses, Reese cups to hearts! They packaged them up, advertised them, and then sold them!

SK loved being a cashier!

They have worked so hard on this project and....for a good reason! The Gator Doodles are made with love to raise money for the organization called Paws with Purpose.

This organization helps train dogs for people with all kinds of needs...it is an amazing organization and they are amazing dogs! The kids had the opportunity to meet the dogs and see them in action so they fully understood the purpose of all the hard work they put into this project!

What an amazing project for some amazing first graders! Way to go!

There is nothing better than seeing kids come together to make a difference!
