5th grade is flying by

I took the 5th grade class picture today.....and it hit me how fast this year is flying by...Riggs' days in elementary school are numbered.  (Deep sigh). It has been an interesting year to say the least concerning his friends, the impact of the intimate.... all the time connection that social media has brought, and the emotional changes I already see him experiencing. I feel like at Goshen he is in a protected bubble and the days fleeting......and I am holding on for dear life. Slow down, school year......slow down......
