The finally April birthday is Riggs'....April 26th. This year he turned 11...past 10...moving past the "golden age of childhood"...and it's kinda scary to think about that...but as much as I would like to at times...I can't stop time...so we turn 11....happily.
We started with breakfast at Dairy Queen....birthday boy's request.
I dropped off Aunt Annie's pretzel bites and a Smoothie Kings smoothie to him for lunch at Goshen!
and after school the friends were over for sure!
It was an afternoon of basketball and laughter!
At 11..he values his friends in a big...big...way....
After his choice of supper...Chick Fil A nuggets, baked potato bar and salad...we had his cookie cake!
and sang and hopefully he made a wonderful wish!
Best presents....a bb gun......
a mini trampoline for dunking.....
and the most wanted gift.......custom Nike Elite socks...($40 a pop)......geez! But so worth the smile!
and new basketball shoes!
Happy Birthday, Riggs! We are looking forward to your weekend away with your friends in May as we head to the Great Smokey Mountains to hike!
