Christmas Eve at Bumpa's 2012

There is nothing like Christmas eve...as supper time rolls around...it sets in that it's here...it's really here...it's finally Christmas!

 Littles gather around the tree waiting until it's time to open gifts.....

 and this Christmas I was most thankful that the magic still lived in all my littles....every one of them...

 I am one lucky lady to have these four precious littles to make Christmas magic for!!!

 so with happy in our hearts we ate....we drank....and we were merry in deed!

 and then we opened presents....

favorites were.... running gifts for Riggs....

 games for Rollins.....

 Liv dolls for SK.....

 and a vet set for Lila Ray!

 Gran Gran let them open a gift too this Christmas eve....sweet Christmas pajamas!

 and the slippers SK had been wanting.... just like gran grans

 It was just perfect.....our Christmas Eve at Bumpa's!

 We danced the night away to Dance Central.......

 and played pass word until it was time to go home at get ready for Santa!

Christmas Eve Nativity

We joined the Timmerings at church to see Braden And Julia in their Nativity Pageant!

It was the perfect way to being our Christmas eve evening!

It was beautiful...and the sweet voices of the children singing was so precious....

Riggs was proud of Sam...he played Joseph so that was a bonus!

The Hardy littles were so proud of the Timmering Littles!

After hugs and good jobs were shared we loaded up and headed to Bumpa and Grandpa's!

There were presents waiting to be opened!

Christmas Eve Breakfast at Mamaw's house

It's the second annual Christmas Eve Breakfast at Mamaw's!

 A little milk...a lot of doughnuts....add some excited littles on Christmas eve....

 and you have the perfect way to start Christmas eve!

 She loves having us all right there....her eyes sparkle with happiness where we are all together!

and as good as it is for her....it's good for all of us too...Jeremy gets to see things from his childhood Christmas memories...Christmas decorations that have been set out for many, many Christmases!

 Things that even at 36...he can't but pick up and play with....Christmas just brings out the little kid in all of us!

 It's Christmas Eve....and the excitement is in the air!!!

Santa comes tonight, friends!!!!!

Christmas eve 2011...heading to bed

Back from Bumpa's Christmas Eve we came home to our own home to prepare for Santa's arrival! We put out Milk and Cookies......

 got out the reindeer food and sprinkled it out on the lawn......

 The reindeer food really seems to sparkle in the night! Then it was up to bed for the four Hardy kids to dream of Santa and his arrival to our home!

 Final presents we had been hiding were brought out to wrap and were placed carefully under the tree for little ones to discover in the morning.....it was a beautiful sight!

There is so much to do on Christmas eve when you have four little ones...this is the clock I saw when Jeremy and I headed up to bed.....

 and sometime between then and 6:58...Santa came! He brought wonderful things for Sarah Kate.....

 for Lila.....

 for Riggs.....

 and for Rollins.....

Christmas Eve at Bumpas!

 Christmas Eve is pure magic! The anticipation of what is to come is just overwhelming! We gather at Bumpa and Grandpa's house for Christmas Eve supper and for the little to open up their presents from them! After watching Barbie's Magical Christmas many, many, many times....Sk decided that she wanted double buns for Christmas Eve like Chelsea in the movie....I think they turned out pretty cute!

 Nothing like cousins!

 Even on Christmas Eve SK was reading....

 and reading.....she just can't get enough!

 This Christmas Eve I was happy....and content to just be with my family.....

 SHHHHH........if you listen closely you can hear the love...and feel the magic of the evening!

 Bumpa lets them open presents before they even eat! We got new clothes....

 Amazing jerseys.....

 Pretty things we will treasure forever....

 and ornaments like the one SK got with a book on it....that one day..... she will hang on her own tree

 We got toys from our Christmas list....

 and even a few surprises!

 and pogo sticks...don't forget those!

 It was an amazing night...full of love and family!

Even if Lila got the blue Barbie and not the pink one like K-Kate....

 Night fell and the smells of a yummy supper filled the air....

 we were thankful for all we have...and all the many blessings we share!

 After baths and Christmas joms we dance to the Grinch....

 and settled into the night and the glow of Christmas seemed to surround us....

It was perfect!
