It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Trinity Tailgate

Fall and football is sneaking up on us....and oh I love it! Tonight we went to the Trinity / St. X game and just had the best time!
The boys played football in the parking lot and everyone wanted a picture with the cheerleaders!

The sun began to set and the National anthem was played and the boys went on into the game.

The Momas sat for just a little while longer at the tailgate...talking about everything and nothing.
We enjoyed the game and this taste of fall!

Trinity St. X game

It was a new world for me...the St. X/ Trinity game that everyone talks about! But we were excited to go and just enjoy a fun Friday night of friends and football!
We picked a side.....(Brook noon would kill us if we picked any other way!)...got our tailgate together...and headed to the stadium!
We played football in the parking lot.....

 listened to some tunes.....

and just had the best time with friends!

Such a fun Friday night of football!
Thank goodness we were all decked out in our Trinity attire....cause we see Mrs. soon on the way out! It was the perfect way to end the night....Go Rocks!

Trinity Meet 2012

We were all smiles...it was Friday and we were at the big Trinity XC meet! The boys were messing around...
 and hanging out....
and then it set in that the competition at this meet was good...really good...and that they would be versing 6th graders for the first time....
When that gun went off....I did not have a good feeling.....

Riggs didn't get out as well as he can....and well...the 6th graders are good...and some of them are just big....he tried....he really did....

But today his gut and  his heart could not get him past a few of these 6th graders...
But he gave it all he had right to the finish line....
 and so did Rollins....

Today they both crossed the finish line in tears.
Today they got beat by kids they usually don't finish behind.
Today was life.

But...we were proud that both boys had PR's today and bettered their times in amazing ways!
Rollins was excited to share his race with the Noon boys and Braden....

We are proud.....we tried hard....we gave our best...let's see those smiles! And really....am I lucky or what....I live with these handsome guys!!
It also helped that we finished the night with trophies!
Boys came in first and the girls came in third!

Trinity XC camp

One of the camps the boys are doing this summer is Trinity Cross Country Camp! They were so excited to go..Riggs even wore his Trinity Podium Finisher t-shirt from the Trinity meet last season.

They both took it all in....
and gave it their best! It was so nice to meet the coaching staff there...they were very nice and the boys just love to do anything with XC!

Trinity Meet

The traffic was so bad and we were so late getting to this meet. We pulled into the street and Jeremy got out with the boys and literally ran them to the start line. I parked in a crazy spot as soon as I could and ran like hell myself...we were stressed beyond belief but somehow it all worked out and everyone got where they needed to be on time. This is a big meet full of great competition and a full field for sure!

I was so nervous for Riggs. He is a guy of routine and focus and he got none of that with our crazy arrival to the meet.
But he ran..... and ran well...
He got to the finish line in 6th place! Not too bad out of 330 runners and many of them 6th graders.

Rollins did great too! He came in 80th...but still not bad out of that many runners and he is only in second grade.

Coach Jeff came tonight to support Riggs! Riggs was so proud and happy to have him there! He just loves Jeff so much!
The Timmerings were there too...and Rollins was so happy to share XC with his BFF!
Lila Ray had a ball with Renee and Brooke! They were so sweet with her!

The awards were fun! Riggs got a trophy for his 6th place finish!

The Goshen boys and Girls both took second place!

It started out so stressful but ended so happy! We truly are a XC family!
We were starving and headed to Wicks for pizza to celebrate with Grandpa, Bumpa and Gran-Gran. Riggs was so excited to pour over the results and the times at the table.
He loves this sport...and I am pretty sure this sport loves him.

After our long day...Pizza never tasted so good!
They had a live band and we danced in the booth....
and then we danced out of the booth as well! It was a fun way to end our crazy, but good Trinity meet!
