Jeremy has been talking about putting Bamboo in our back yard for as long as I can remember....he just loves it...the way it looks....the movement it brings as the wind makes it dance. When we got home from Chicago, to our surprise, he had actually purchased bamboo and was ready to plant it!
We decided to put it in the far back corner of our yard...as it spreads...and there was a whole there where you could still see the road...Jeremy was so excited! As soon as the first shovel scooped the first shovelful of dirt...the skies got dark and a storm was brewing. I joined in...helping him dig...move and plant the bamboo...as the Thunder sounded....together we got it in...and finished just as the sky opened and poured buckets of rain!
It was quite a storm...but the neatest thing about this spring rain...was that not only was it raining raindrops but it was raining cherry blossoms....it was beautiful!
