We gathered.... after the littles were bathed and in their pajamas.... on the porch of Grandpa's house in Norton Commons to watch the fireworks on July 4th eve!
It's always fun waiting for fireworks...just anticipating that first boom of color in the sky...
As that first splash of light came over the sky....a beautiful smile splashed over Lila's face!
There is something special about watching fireworks...each one so unique and different...and beautiful...just like my littles. And there is something special about watching your littles as they take in the beauty...as their faces light up with delight...and the lights from the sky dance in their eyes...
After the display we were all drawn to the fountain....it too..all lit up like the sky had just been...
and the shoes came off....
and they talked...and wished...and dangled toes in the water....
It was the perfect July 4th eve!
