Rollins has been late to loose his teeth. He has a very weak gag reflex so for the longest time his dentist visits never included a successful x-ray. Honestly, until he finally did get an x ray this year and we saw there were teeth that were going to come in...I was worried he didn't have any! But he does...but none of those baby teeth wee at all loose!
About two weeks ago he told us his gums were sore. When my mom looked in his mouth she saw a big tooth coming in...but that baby tooth in front of it was not loose at all! I called the dentist and he said to come in so off we went to see Dr. Crenshaw!
I just knew this was it...that he was going in with his little boy smile and that D. Crenshaw would pull that tooth and the tooth fairy would be coming tonight! So I snapped this one last picture of him with all this teeth before we went in. Dr. Crenshaw said it looked good...this was normal and to come back in 3 months...no tooth fair tonight!
But two weeks later he lost that tooth! And in the middle of the night the tooth fairy came!
When I woke him up for school he looked right away under his pillow!
She left him a $20! I guess since he had to wait so long she compensated him for that! ;)
His little teeth are so small his smile doesn't even look much different, but he feels different...a part of the big kid club and that is all that matters!
He was one happy little boy!
That afternoon Braden came over with a very special surprise for him!
A tooth cake! It was so cute...and so delicious! Rollins loved it!
It's great to have best friends celebrate the things that are important to you!
