last beach day

We have fallen in love with this beach!  We love the shells here...it's so fun to take a walk and just look for a treasure! You just don't know what you will find and that makes it so fun! We started our last beach day with a shell hunt! Nana grabbed the beach bucket......

I grabbed my coffee......

and we headed to the beach for a fabulous morning of shell hunting!

we found some treasures for sure!

Rollins spent the afternoon fishing with Alex and was so hopeful to catch his first fish!

and the girls spend the afternoon in the sand and the sun!

and this is the face of a boy who caught a fish!!!!

Actually he caught two...2 pin fish to be exact!

Happy to have Rolls back with us we took a walk to find a sea turtle nest.....

on the way back we discovered this huge deposit of shells.....talk about a treasure!

We spent forever combing...sorting and admiring these shells....

I wrote Maddie's name in the sand......

and then we shell wrote and wrote and wrote.....

Rollins decided his trip would not be complete with a little surfing time ( a on boogie board)...he tried and tried....and we laughed...and laughed...such a fun memory.....

I give up!

That night we headed out for supper.....

We had the best meal...

 Everything was great until we got Maddie Ann out of her car seat for a picture...she literally had poop up her back...all the way to her neck....it was crazy but funny...and well....part of the trip for sure...what went down in the parking lot of that restaurant was straight out of a sit com!
We have loved our Maddie Time ....we are going to miss her....Rolls especially......
