Lakeside Meet!

Tonight we headed to Lakeside for a swim meet!

 The Hardys had a great night of swimming....for the most part......Riggs rocked it out! He swam like a champ!

Won his races....

 got some heat ribbons to take home.....

 and had fun hanging out with his friends!

 My SK had a great night too!

She did the breast stroke tonight....

and won a heat ribbon!

She also had the best time hanging out with her buddies...old and new!

 Rolls....well, he had a rough start....
He was so excited to do the IM for the first time....but right when he jumped in his goggles came off....

He wanted to stop ....he just did. But God love him....he kept going...did the entire IM with no goggles and in tears.....

He did the best he had with he he had...and still placed 3rd.

He cried for a while after he finished....I was so proud of him for continuing on with such a big set back in such a long race...the Lakeside coach came up to me after and told me how impressed he was with my boy....yhea...he is pretty amazing! :)

He reset with a little fun time with his friends.....

 and then brought home a few heat ribbons of his own!

 Swim team is a lot of work...but the life lessons, the exercise, the friendship, the fun and the memories are so worth it!

 We celebrated the night with an 11:30 meal at Casa Fiesta!
