Celebrating with the family

Christmas, since Sarah Kate, is busier. Right in the middle of the red and the green...you have to incorporate a little pink...and a lot of birthday sparkle...but she loves every second of it..truly she does. We all do! She just adds sparkle to everything! She is polite...and precious...and just the sweetest little girl!

Today we celebrated her birthday with the family...doing it a little early to give her some space between Christmas and Birthday presents. She gingerly opened each card..and read each one..how many kids take the time to do that? And she opened each gift with happy delight and commentary...Isn't it beautiful, Momma!?......It's lovely!

The Cake was Amazing...and she absolutely loved it!! The highlight of the  party was the special candle I got her...it was supposed to spin and sing...however it exploded and nearly caught the house of fire...we were in tears laughing at the special candle...and Barbie's deodorant issues with her hands raised when we reverted back to regular old birthday candles.

As the party ended, SK hugged everyone there and told them thank you...and was off to play with new Barbies..and read new books! She is darling...darling...darling!!!
