Our plate says it all....SPRING FEVER! We all have it and the last few days of windy warmth have given us a taste of the outside world we have missed.
Although it is still officially winter and I know it will snow again...the warmth brought out the urge to clean and purge and so I started with the garage...bringing everything out...sweeping it...and reorganizing it. We said goodbye to a few toys and hello to others we had not seen in a while...like our dear, precious friend the swing...
Sarah Kate was in heaven...she said she could feel the swing in her heart!
And in the bottom of the barbie jeep we found a box of new crayons...there is nothing like new crayons!
And sidewalk chalk....oh how we have missed you!
Basketballs were dribbled.....
And snacks were had out on a blanket with the sun shining down...and the warmth felt so good...especially since you knew it was a fleeting gift and was not here to stay.
Trampolines were bounced on and the giggles were magical as they filled the air...all the kids so happy to bounce...and feel the wind all around them!
And Jack loved being outside too....the sun making his coat warm to the touch...and all the more fun to cuddle with...aahhh Puppy Love!
Scooters and bikes came out and we enjoyed it all....every second of this gift in the midst of winter. It just felt so good to be outside.....so...so...good.
