First flip flops...and a good swing

It was warm today...just a perfect sneak peek of spring kind of day...so I got out the new Matilda Jane and SK ran to get her new silver flip flops...the girl loves a good pair of flip flops! :)

 The girls were happy to feel the sun...and so was jack!

 Because we could we ventured over to the park...for a nice, sunny swing! The girls were in heaven...Lila loves the swing...she is always content to be pushed for as long as you will push her...

 But SK LOVES the swing...always has...she says she feels it in her heart and I truly think she does...I love to watch her swing...it is pure joy for her...and absolutely precious to watch her happiness as he goes back and forth...back and forth....

With the flip flops and the swing SK had a very good day but it got even better! Because she has completed 2 books for Ms. Ann and is moving onto her third...Ms. Ann...her reading tutor...took her on a very special lunch date! SK got to choose the place and she chose Arby's. Off they went to celebrate and Ms. Ann even got her a chocolate shake for being such a good reader. We are so blessed to have Ms. Ann in our lives...SK has learned so much from her. She has a true gift for reaching children and has a heart of gold! Sarah Kate loves her flip flops...a good swing...and being able to read...but she loves Ms. Ann just as much!
