settling into summer

Because it’s summer and the memories are just waiting to 

happen........

The first week of summer was just about perfect....days began at 7 something...our eyes never saw 5 something on the clock...

clover chains were made.....

the littles stayed in their pajamas until it was time for a bathing suit.....

we stayed out till dusk....soaking in every last part of the day.....

we ate Popsicles with friends and went for walks, bike and wagon rides......

we had sleepovers and the big kids got to stay up all night long ......and for the first time they did it....

we had sleepovers where we went to bed early and just enjoyed cuddle time.....

we went for ice cream .......and it tasted better in the summer heat....

 ate juicy watermelon than ran down our chins......

 napped on the front porch swing.....

 and played in the hose.....

It was the perfect first week...the only thing missing was pool time...but the pool opens this weekend and we are so excited for that! Hope your summer is off to a great start too......
