We kick off Derby with Thunder over Louisville! Hot or cold we always love it! This year it was on the chilly side!
It was Lila Ray's first Thunder and she was excited to be a part of the fun!
He waited for the planes.....
Had hot chocolate.....
enjoyed the air show......
and snuggled together and read a few chapters of our books!
The boys played lots of football.....
and we were so thankful to Nana for this fun day....a birthday present for Jeremy, Riggs and Rollins from her!
as dark finally settled in we got all ready for the fireworks! I could not wait to see what Lila thought of the fireworks show!
Finally that river sky lit up with light....
and little eyes lit up with smiles....
wonder......
and amazement!
Lila was in awe of the beauty and the splendor of it all!
It's a long day...and a long wait for the fireworks....
But it never disappoints!
Let the Derby fun begin!!!!
