Last Early release

The kids had a ball the last early release day...

girls and boys were everywhere!

The  school year is flying by!

100 day of school 2013

We celebrated the 100th day of school!

I packed special snack for my littles ....just a little happy when they opened their back backs at school!

It was such a fun day!

The first graders dressed up like they were 100 years old! SK even took a pocketbook! I wanted to put juicy fruit gum in it so it would smell just like my Grandma Taylor's pocketbook did every Sunday at church.

 They did all kinds of fun 100 day activities!They took a hundred steps in the hall way....

and build a tower with 100 cups!

It was also early release day! So that made the 100th day of school extra fun!

Riggs' buddies had a ball hanging out...and going to the woods! I spend the afternoon washing shoes and socks and listening to the sounds of happy kids!

Early Release

We had our first Early Release day of the school year!  We started our afternoon with yogurt and then headed home to play! Rollins and SK had buddies at our house and Riggs headed to Colin's house for a pool party!

Early release

We had our first spring early release day from school! We started at the Comfy Cow for creamy deliciousness...and then headed home to meet up with more friends to play outside all afternoon!

Fall Early Release day

Today was the first fall early release day....I picked up a truck full of boys at school...... and fed them  a snack and dropped them off in the back yard. I never heard from them again....just hours of football playing fall fun!

It was a fun afternoon.....I'm so lucky to be able to give them afternoons just like this!

Early release...spring style

Today was an early release day and it was so much fun with spring in the air! The boys had friends over and they played outside for the entire afternoon....waiting for a promised Thunderstorm that never came!

 The highlight of the afternoon....the first Popsicles of the season!

 Lila was beyond excited to be reunited with one of her favorite summer treats!

 We gave Jack-Jack extra lovies today as they were coming to turn his fence on later in the afternoon!

 All in all I think we are transitioning into Spring quite nicely...SK is taking it slow....wearing her shorts with her winter boots...but really anything looks good with a Justin Bieber t-shirt! :)

It was early release day today....and it has become a tradition for the boys to have a crew over...I bring some home...some walk over...others get dropped off...but somehow they all end up here and the more the merrier!

 What they do seems to change with the seasons...the first early release day of the school year they were baseball boys...then football boys...and today they were basketball boys.

 yes...the sports change with the season...but I will tell you they are always happy and today the backyard was full of laughter...they were just happy to all be together in one spot.  It seems so simple and yet it makes them so happy...and I was all smiles too just watching them...such amazing boys.

Beautiful boys who will one day break hearts but for now they are just happy to play basketball.

The highlight of the day was when the game of knock out came down to 2...the brothers....Riggs and Rollins.

 Little brother was so happy to win...and big brother was happy for him...a true sign that these brothers are growing up. It was another fun early release day for sure!
