It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Easter at the Hardys 2013

In the blink of an eye Easter arrived! We celebrated with family and went to church on Saturday so we could get on the road for the beach by Sunday afternoon! But we didn't skimp on a thing!
Something about Easter...and spring...and a little sunshine...just makes the littles light up....

and I am just so full of love for them.......

We were Peached out for spring!

It was an Easter to remember for sure.....we had sweet little girls, happily crafting in the kitchen....

Backyard boys playing basketball and talking about March Maddness......
But the real....extra special thing about this Easter....was the arrival of something little.....something eagerly waited for at the door......
 Baby Maddie........
We were so happy to have her here on her first holiday!
Maddie Ann's first Easter!
precious....precious......precious
 We are all in love.....
and this Easter we all felt a little extra special......
 and a little extra blessed......
something about the warm weight of a baby in your arms...it just does that to you......
After all those years of all those little boys....running around like crazy......we are little girl central!
My how things have changed!
As always, the egg hunt was the favorite thing!

Littles running for colored eggs.......
little treasures in the grass....
and a golden egg or two hidden some where.......

Now that he is a daddy himself, Alex really stepped up to the egg hiding......he even made clues with sidewalk chalk...a little something extra special.....and that warmed my heart....he is going to be just fine with this whole daddy thing.....I just know it......
After the egg hunt we busted up an Easter Egg piñata and that was fun too!

It was a wonderful Easter full of traditions and generations....laughter and love!
Happy Easter everyone and Happy first Easter, Maddie Ann! Next year you will be right there with the others looking for your own eggs in the grass!
