It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

daisy kindness

February was my month to help out with SK's Daisy troop! It was a wonderful month because the badge they earned was being responsible for their words and deeds...to practice kindness. The craft I chose was a precious seed to love and nurture in a flower pot they got to decorate with what else but...daisies! We also added a sweet plant stake to remind us to plant kindness everyday.

I love how Sarah Kate listens and really takes it all in....
She has really enjoyed being a daisy and that makes my heart happy!
It was a fun meeting and I ended it with congratulating them on their cookie sales with a little happy thank you gift!
Inside each one was a girl scout cookie flavored chap stick!

Daisy Dance

It was back to back weekends for father daughter dances for Sarah Kate...this time it was the girl scout father daughter dance so she had daddy all to herself.....and it was still just as special! We had playdates until 5:30 so it wasn't the slow...take your time... special..... kind of get ready but she was still just as beautiful in the end!
Maybe more beautiful....
aahhhh.....it just warms the heart!
Sk loves the daisies and she had the best time at this Willy Wonka Themed dance!

She especially loved the chocolate fountain!
Again, Jeremy and Sarah Kate danced the night away!

She is like an angel this one....so sweet and motherly...helpful...and precious.....I am so thankful she gets to experience these special one on one times that make her feel as special and unique as she truly is!

A Daisy Christmas!

Sarah Kate is really enjoying her time as a Daisy! These sweet daisies gathered for their cookie meeting and their Christmas party and they had so much fun!
 Snack time.....so sweet....

Craft Time.....I was so happy Jeremy was able to come!
I was in charge of the craft...the girls made a showman holding a daisy and on his scarf it says: 1234567    I was a Daisy in 2011!
I also brought the girls a reindeer food buffet with all the best ingredients for those reindeer to have the best night on Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas from troop 1115!

Daisies

We have been so busy this summer...having so much fun..but when we are on the go having fun...the Hardy House pays for it...and that means I pay for it...but it is worth it...I think! ;) In and out for activities has turned the "shoe room" upside down, for example. It just makes me stressed to look at it and there are many other areas of the house in the same shape. It is so hard to get on top of it while keeping the kids happy. This morning I got up and cleaned the kitchen...made breakfast and recleaned the kitchen...kids had cheese and crackers for a snack and I recleaned the kitchen...made lunch and I recleaned the kitchen...the cyle is endless! So even when we are home it is hard to get on top of it all...the rest of the house waits while I clean the kitchen! All the while the shoe room is sternly staring at me...aaahhhhh!!! But I have daisies in the kitchen and everytime I go past them I smile...they take the edge off...better daisies than drinking right?!
