It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Neighborly love

I made my first cobbler of the summer season and two pitchers of sweet tea and we headed over for supper with the Bullocks!
Matt Grilled and we all just hung out and visited.
I am thankful to have them as neighbors!

We so enjoy spending time with them!

Superbowl 2012

We had the best Superbowl Sunday Ever! After Braden's confirmation and brunch we headed home to get ready for the big game! This year it was the New York Giants taking on the Patriots! I attempted to make chocolate football rice kripsy treats...damn pinterest!

We headed to the Bullocks and as these families gathered that I just love....it was just about perfect!

We ate....drank...laughed...and cheered!

and we loved Madonna's half time show....especially Jaz and Lila!

The Giants won this game but the whole night was a winner in my book!

No more passie party

Lexi Grace gave up her pacifier....reluctantly.  But she did it! So she had a no more passie party to celebrate!
Here is Lila cheering...No More Passies!
It was fun and the girls were precious!
How lucky are we to live in a neighborhood where you can have this....it makes my heart happy!

the neighbors

-sex and the city

We had a really nice night out with the neighborhood crew to celebrate the January birthdays. We went to Maker's Mark and although it was a couples evening...as I looked around the table at these women...these neighbors...these friends....I was flooded with good memories with each of them. Memories that brought a smile to my face and warmth in my heart.  We are the neighbors...the friends who see each other at our best and at our worst...the ones who pitch in to bring a meal...watch a child....or send a text of encouragement on a hard day.  There have been hiccups but no matter what there has always been love.

Christmas love for the neighbors

We are lucky enough to live in a wonderful neighborhood..with wonderful neighbors! Many of these people I know I could call upon for anything...from watering my plants while we are out of town.... to a shoulder to cry on when life is rough. These people love and encourage my children...they are people I am so thankful for. At Christmas, I always like to let them know how thankful I am for their presence in our lives...just something little. This year, the girls and I made homemade Chex Mix and tied bags of it to beautiful wooden letter...for their last name. Rollins has asked to deliver them!
