A day with Maddie

Sara is back to work so I offered to take Maddie for the day so she could run errands or catch up on some sleep. SInce it was so close to Mother's day I decided I would make Sara and Nana a picture book to celebrate their first Mother's Day with her. It was so much fun! I got some good pictures but these are my favorites!

Other than the photo shoot we had the best time talking and just enjoying our girl time!

Lila loved having her here too....and is just a natural little Moma!

There is just nothing better than a new baby! Can't wait to have her again soon!

Lila's REAL birthday!

I know...it's like her birthday never ends...but none the less...Lila's real birthday had to be celebrated! We started with a doughnut birthday party with the Timmerings at Sugar and Spice!

It was the perfect way to start the day!

She was so excited to officially be 4!

We then headed to Creasy to swing and play while the boys did a little XC with Coach Jeff. This down time in the quiet nature preserve....got me....it hit me...my baby is 4...this is her last year of preschool....and I spent the hour falling in love with her for the bazillionth time.......

She loved getting a birthday call from Uncle Jason on our way to McDonalds...it's the little things...
And lunch at McDonalds...her choice ...was just perfect!

Bumpa took her to Chick fil a for Polynesia sauce for supper while we were at XC but after we took her to dessert at 32 degrees for her favorite yogurt! And because she is 4...she did it all by her self...even the whipped cream!

We ended the night with family time back at home and presents , of course!
She fell asleep in my arms...and I fell asleep wrapped in her sweet scent and delicious warmth. She is 4 but is still my baby....always my baby.
Happy Birthday, Lila Ray!

Celebrating Mrs. Davis

Mrs. Davis is getting so close to welcoming her new baby into the world! The children are so excited and happy for her! They have watched her belly grow and enjoyed this journey with her in so many ways! We had a shower for her to let her know how excited we are for her!

It was Tornado day so Avery's preschool was closed and we were happy to have her there to join in on the fun!
We played games, presented her with a book basket full of books for Avery and the new baby to enjoy, and watched a video of advice for the new baby from the class...many of the kids wrote...Don't drop your baby!...some of them were sweet words and some of them were funny. Rollins wrote...keep your baby safe and warm...if it's a boy or a girl I will like your baby....don't forget Avery. SO sweet, my boy...he really does have a beautiful heart. I thought it was very sweet that he was the only one thought of Avery.
We ended with party favors...bubbles that said..We are bubbling over with joy for you, Mrs. Davis! and truly we are!

Heaven in a jar....

You can't tell from the outside...but inside this house something special is going on...inside these walls a living, breathing, princess is happily sleeping...and the rooms are full of love and thankfulness...and contentment. When you walk in you can feel the warmth of all these things...and you see it in the happy, fulfilled smile of a new moma....oh there is nothing like a new baby...
I was lucky enough to meet Hallie Howard today!
I sat for one whole hour and held this little, warm, bundle of blessings in my arms.....and smelled her sweet scent...and visited with Ashley...it was a wonderful morning! My heart is so full of happiness for the Howards!
She is Heaven in a Jar.....as Riggs would say....

Anderson

I was oh so happy to get the text that Ruthie was a Moma! Anderson was in the world..safe and sound...and beautiful.

I took dinner and got to meet this sweet, sweet scented miracle......

He gave me the "oh" so I know he knows how much I love him....he is pure bliss from his beautiful round head that has precious swirls in his tiny hair.....

all the way down to his delicate toes!

Life is good, friends...life is good. There is nothing better than a new baby to remind you of love...I am full of happiness for the Parrott family...a family of 3 now!
