It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Greater Louisville Classic

With a touch of bronchitis...a broken toe...and a 4K middle school meet later that afternoon...Riggs took the morning off at XC practice and cheered and helped time the team in their time trial.
We were just unsure how this race would play out...for both the boys... and we knew Riggs was not 100% at all...he was having trouble breathing and his broken toe was hurting...Moma wanted to scoop him up and go home and snuggle on the couch...but Riggs wanted to run.
So our Goshen team of 2...a 3rd grader and a 5th grader...headed to the start line for this Middle School 4K race.....
I felt so bad for Riggs....I know he wanted to do so well...but we all knew he had some thing against him today....
We met Coach Jeff at the start line to tape the toe.....

Riggs was happy to see Wes who was at the meet today....he has missed him since they moved to Paducah. Riggs and Wes battled in this race which is so fun....Wes led....Riggs passed him...Wes got back in the lead...today Wes won but Riggs gave it all he had to give today. Riggs placed 14th and Wes 13th...pretty good for two 5th graders in a Middle school meet!  Riggs had wanted to place in the top 25...goal accomplished!

Rollins had wanted to place in the top 50...he came in 43rd! Goal Accomplished! Rollins is really running well here at the end of the season...we are so proud of him! What a brave 8 year old to get out there with those huge middle schoolers and run like he is just as big!
 Way to go Hardy brothers!
We lingered to hang with Wes for a few before taking off...they kicked the soccer ball for a bit...wish it could have been longer.
We headed to Cheddars to eat.....
 Then Graeters for ice cream......

We had to celebrate the brothers! Lila even did a cheer!
and at the end of all of that...they were still running......

always running.......
