I have been eating, sleeping and dreaming about apples for weeks as we have been preparing for the first annual Apple Auction for Goshen...a fundraiser for Apple iPads.
It was been so much work but fun too as we put it all together. Every Apple detail was made by someones hand with love and it ended up being a beautiful event.
It's amazing how a handful of people can come together to make something happen! I was so blessed to work with these ladies on this event. The turn out was not as we hoped but it is the first year for this event so we have to be patient and watch it grow!
The Bourbon tasting was a big hit for sure and will definitely be back next year!
Everyone had a good time who attended and at the end of the night we had raised $10,000 in just a few hours with more silent auction item to close in the week and more money to come! It was a good start for sure!
but I won't be eating apples for a while......gonna stick to bananas this week! :)
