It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Go cats and taking a moment to remember the day

We headed off to Lexington for the UK vs. WKU football game tonight! It was nice to relax in the car and just be excited for the football game...a game of a team we love but where none of my kids were playing...win or loose it was just going to be fun! We got there and got out the food and the boys threw a little football! They loved their Big Blue drinks! They played and ate and had a great time and then it was time to head to the stadium!

We walked in and they were so excited to see the sea of blue and hear the crowd cheering!

It was loud and exciting but ironically it was our time to remember 9/11 on this whirlwind day. The SEC flags had been replaced with all American flags and the big American flag was at half mast. The children placed their hands over their hearts for a moment of silence as we remembered the past and what is means to all of us.

"look mama," Rollins said as the jets flew over the stadium as we payed tribute to 9/11.So precious to see the boys think about an event that happened before they were born but that still lingers in all of us everyday

With cross fingers and hopeful hearts they settled into the game and we had a ball! The Cats won and the long day was over....it was a good one!
