It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Father daughter dance -take 2

After last year...I don't think Sarah Kate and Julia will ever miss a father daughter dance....until they get too big for it at least and it's not cool...but for now their dads are "the one" and they love everything about this special night!
We started with girl time at the salon for hair and a little touch of make up! They had to be beautiful for their big night!
This year....Lila was getting to go to and she was over the moon with excitement!

Back at home the girls got ready in the purple dresses they had picked out...They looked so pretty...and they were so excited they almost seemed to shine!

Sarah Kate taught Lila Ray how to walk while holding her dress...so sisterly of her!
It was all perfect....the girls were set to leave at 6:00 to go down to the Timmering's for pictures and flowers....and then Lila somehow....someway ripped the entire front tulle layer of her dress off....really?! I tore the house up looking for a way to fix it...mom sat in the ready to sew it...but after a crazy stressful 15 minutes we safety pinned the heck out of the dress....added a few extra purple flowers...and sent Lila on her way!
Life was good!

and Jeremy and Brad had the prettiest dates in the world...safety pins and all!
Flowers were given.....
 Lila loved hers!

Sweet Sarah Kate loved giving Daddy his rose too!
 and then they were off!
Like last year...I followed and took a few pics....I just had to! The girls were happy to see friends the moment they walked in the door!
It was a flurry of dads and daughters...music, moment and most of all love.....
Every little girl was presented with a rose! It was a night of happy girls....
 and happy daddies!
and they danced the night away.....

It's just the best $6 event around!

What a fun night for these sweet girls and their first loves....their daddies!
