shifting

It was an absolutely amazing summer...no doubt about it...and I will carry these happy, warm memories with me forever......

But there is a shift...it is has slowly crept into every aspect of our lives....the shift from summer to fall...as we let go of pool days and think about football...as we let go of the grill and think more about on the go crock pot recipes...and we are opening the window to get back into school mode.....

notebooks are scattered around as the littles get back into the swing of things and I am happy to report that after a long summer...Lila can still write her name!

first day of school outfits are being picked out and perfected by the littles....

and back packs are ready and even adorned with new Justin Bieber buttons.....

Tonight we go to Goshen to the open house and meet and mingle with our teachers and the class! We will check out who we are sitting by on the first day of school and square away all of our school supplies! Can you feel it.....the shift is here...wish us luck!
