It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

A first for Ryan....

We love the Cats...can't help it....being on campus and going to college at the University of Kentucky it sort of creeps into you and before you know it you truly do bleed blue! We have had season football tickets for years and love going to the games...it is fun..and routine for us to head up there on late Saturday afternoons for a game. Tonight Ryan went with us and for him it was a first...his first big football game...and it was so neat to see it all again for the first time through his eyes!  He asked question after question about the stadium and tailgating as we walked to meet up with our tailgate buddies...he was excited to be there! Today we were even able to see Rob and Abby...it had been way to long! We so enjoyed eating and hanging out with them and that crew before we went into the stadium.

The game started out with a bang! In the first series we scored and the boys were so excited as the crowed cheered...the band played and fireworks went off!

Colin is such a good buddy! He loves the Cards but was true blue tonight!
The game was a good one...and as the Cats held their own and hung in with 8th ranked Auburn...I saw Ryan and Colin get drawn into the excitement of the game...they chanted "Go Big Blue"....Ryan cheered with delight with every first down and Colin even prayed a few times!

We had a ball!!!! It was a great game but ended in tough loss for the Cats...as Auburn kicked a last minute field goal to win the game....so as the cheerleaders swayed on the field to My Old Kentucky Home as the game ended....tears dripped down Ryan's chin....he was so sad the Cats lost...the most sad of all of us.

And as we walked out of the stadium Ryan said..."that was so fun....can I come again sometime?"  Of course you can Ry-Ry! It was so fun to share that with him....I saw the big blue creeping into him...Go Cats!!!!
