He just keeps rolling on....

It was cold this morning as we headed out to Oldham County High School for Cross Country...the kids arrived in gloves and hoodies...and although I was cold it felt good in a way to have this chill in the air letting us lean more into the holidays than back to sticky summer.

The course was amazing and on the walk as the other kids seemed to enjoy talking and looking at all the woods had in store, Riggs took in the course...it's turns and how it narrows...where it winds so he knew when and where to make his moves...and as he took this in...I took him in...watching him intently study and coming back to the giddy fun of the group as the walk through ended.

He had a great run! He was a top ten finisher and came in third on the team!

Another race...another blissful smile from Riggs...and he just keeps rolling on......
