guitar recital

In January Sarah Kate began guitar lessons and after a few months of lessons she was asked to be in her first recital!

She was a little nervous...but was happy to see her teacher, Ms. China, when she got to the Arts center.

Finally it was her turn....I thought I might throw up....she just looked so little carrying that big guitar up on the big, big stage.....

But she walked up...just as poised as she could be....

and played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...perfectly!

and when she was finished...she stood up...took her bow...and flashed this prideful smile right at me....

She was so proud!

And we were all so very proud of her too! The brothers came straight from their track meet and made it in time to see her play!

It felt so good to celebrate Sk.....

She is a very bright and special little girl!

She loved being showered with flowers...she deserved every last one of them!
