Today was our last track meet of the season
It was at North Oldham....and it was a middle school meet....holy tall kids!
But....."The Gun goes off....I am the bullet"........
and in typical Hardy boy fashion, they gave it their best....
This it "the one" for Riggs...the sport he loves best...to run
I am always so proud of him....no matter what...because he just tries so hard...
Today he got 2 PRs...and got his mile time down to 5:40. He hung right with the middle schoolers.
This one is only 8...and still loves his soccer oh so much too...he was also amazing today...but even though he was amazing..it's hard to see that when you are one of the last ones to to come across the finish line....he is newly 8....and was running again 8th graders....it took a little chit chat...and some back pats to make him understand how well he had done...but we gave them and he understood.
