It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

We know our teachers!

We gathered at Goshen this morning for the big unveiling.
The kids got up this morning and they were just Goshen Gators...going into new grades. I knew when they walked out they would be defined by not only a teacher but by a set of new classmates. Getting your teacher is a big deal...it sets the tone for your school year...and there are only so many so you have to make the best of each one! Honestly, I was a nervous wreck but it was good to be back at Goshen...a place I love with all my heart! The kids were so excited ...nervous but excited!
We stood in line and when we got up to the desk... and it was finally our turn...Riggs went first. We already knew Colin had Mrs. Gaynor....and Mrs. Gaynor is who we saw at the zoo when we were looking for "a sign" of who we would get. Riggs was so hopeful  to know if maybe....just maybe... he and Colin...could be in the same class. It would be a dream come true.....
..... and out it came.... out of the mouth of Mrs. Paula Judy....the name...Mrs. Amy Gaynor! Riggs and Colin Jumped and screamed! They were so excited!!!! Everyone in the office smiled at their happiness!

It's going to be a great year for these two sweet boys! They are so excited to have Mrs. Gaynor!
Next up to the desk was Rollins. His "sign" told him he would have Mrs. Davis...and that.... believe it or not is who he got! Can you believe it? Our signs were right!
As a big fat bonus....so did Braden! They are so excited to have Mrs. Davis and each other!
Then it was time for my sweet Sarah Kate to step up and learn her fate....she was hoping for Mrs. P...she was so cute with her little hands resting under her chin...and she looked so little at that big, tall desk. She lit up when Paula told her she was in Mrs. P's class! Another wish come true! Are we happy Hardys or what?!
Then is was off to the book store for more supplies and to purchase the beloved Goshen Gator book bag that we can't wait to decorate and make special just for her! I have big plans for that little bag!
After a trip to E.P to play at the park we celebrated with lunch at Chick-Fil-A. I loved watching the boys talk...all excited...for their new year!
As soon as we got home SK put on her new Gator spirit wear...she is so excited to be a Goshen Gator like her brothers! I am over the moon with happiness after finding out their teachers! I was so nervous...I get that way every year but now that we know all the littles are in amazing hands...we are looking forward to another amazing year at Goshen! The first day of school is just around the corner!
