First Swim Meet together

These two have not seen each other in 2 weeks! Colin was on vacation and then we went on vacation so they were so happy to be together again any way....but extra happy to swim in their first swim meet together. I took them to the mall today so they were happy to be both be in new Abercrombie t shirts that they had sprayed with cologne....they are big time!

Riggs has been working so hard on his swimming...with private lessons, stroke clinics, making every practice he can...and trying so hard in his first 3 swim meets. This would be Colin's second one ever..his first was when we were on vacation. They are working to qualify in the strokes for the city meets and in typical Colin/Riggs fashion Riggs has given it all and he has qualified in one event...Colin walked in to his first meet ever and qualified in 3 of 4 events...he is just an amazing athlete...gifted I would say even. This is a very important part of their friendship...it has helped make their friendship what it is today in so many way.

 Riggs was on fire in his butterfly section of the relay...he was really smoking! Butterfly is what he is qualified in though so as far as the city meet..it didn't matter...but we sure were proud of him!

 Colin...qualified in the butterfly tonight and is now qualified in all four strokes...and we sure were proud of him too!

 Riggs was so happy for Colin....and Colin gave Riggs the encouragement he needed for the next meet. It's a very special relationship for sure. :)
