It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Getting Ready to Run!

Jeremy, the boys and I boarded a plane bound for sunny Orlando this morning! All decked out in Derby City attire we were off to represent Kentucky at the AAU National XC meet.
From the airport we went straight to Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports for the course walk through!
From the cold, wet weather we left in Kentucky the warm sun felt so good....like good for the soul good....like I closed my eyes and felt the warmth radiate on my face good!
We made like the song says and bought ourselves some peanuts and crackerjacks and headed to meet up with the team!
Riggs...taking it all in....it just means so much to him to be here.....
and Rollins....playful as ever....laid back and carefree.....

Both boys ventured on their courses and got their plan for their races...
We were so happy the Grendi's were there with us...it feels good to have a little piece of Goshen family with you for sure.
The team gathered for a group picture!
Slowly we are becoming part of this team.....
After time with the team was done...we let the boys explore a little.....
the track there is so cool...
and Riggs relaxed...and smiled for a bit...and I sure loved seeing him enjoy it all!

My boys love to run.....they love XC....and that is how we came to be here...for the love of this sport...and the love we have for these two amazing boys....

After we left the EPSN Wide World of Sports we headed off to Downtown Disney to eat at the Rainforest Cafe and to load up on carbs and water!

Later we met back up with the team for team pictures and to get the boys numbers and racing chips.
 Rollins' team.....
 Riggs' team....

And the team we love the most....our Oldham Country runners!
Then we were off to our hotel room for bed....tomorrow would be a big day!

Good Luck Derby City....and Good Luck Hardy Boys!
