It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

A note for Jingle Jack

This morning when we woke up Jingle Jack was nestled in the wreath in our hall. The kids found him and then disappeared downstairs to the play room. I just smiled...I love it when they do something together..and the idea was theirs from start to finish.  A little while later..... as I walked in the hall.... I noticed a note and a pencil in the wreath. They had written a note to Jingle Jack...in the hopes that he would answer their curious questions about him....
The next morning when we woke up...we plugged up the tree and there sat Jingle Jack and the note and pencil were their too...every question answered! The kids were so excited!

Rollins asked what his favorite food and drink were...crackers and sugar water....Riggs asked him his favorite number and real name...14 and JJ.....Sarah Kate wanted to know what his favorite thing to play was...hockey. Last year they asked his age and birthday...such curious kids.... and what a nice elf to take time our of his busy schedule to answer their questions!
