I can't tell you the last time Jeremy and I went out on a date....and if you are talking about a date with just the two of us..forget about it! The stars aligned tonight and Chris and Susan invited the boys and Kay-Kate over for a sleep over and mom took Lila Ray. Not only were we getting a night out, but we were going to come home to an empty house...just the two of us. We could not believe it...and we were so excited! We got all the kids where they needed to be and got ready to go out...but what to do?! Where to go?!
We decided on dinner and a movie...creative I know...but we really wanted to see Tron before it went out of the theatres because my brother, Jason said it was the best movie he had ever seen! We started at Martini's for wine and yummy food...we just talked and talked. It was so nice to be out and about in the world...and be together. We then headed off to our movie..which was in 3D so we got to rock out the glasses!
We headed home...giddy to be going home to an empty house. We got home abut 12:30 from our movie...put Jack in his crate..and started shutting the house down. At 12:59 the phone rang....it was mom telling us that Lila was up and crying. We got in the car..... and left our kid free house to go get her and bring her home...God love her!
So the three of us headed up to bed together. With Lila snuggled between us...I reached over and gave Jeremy a pat and told him I loved him. It had been an amazing night anyway. Date night number 1 of 6 complete...we broke away for the night and it felt so nice!
