Snow Day!

When you wake up and realize the world in blanketed in white and there is no school....it is such a good feeling. Sure you have the nagging that it is taking one more day away from your summer vacation but little kids live in the now...and they were so happy to have a surprise day off! It was a warm snow day..in the 30's and not the teens so that means sledding!!! We had a ball!

We got ready and headed out to our beautiful,white world!

 Then met up with friends at the hill.....

And with squeals of delight and laughter we sledded our hearts out!

We had so much fun....everything is so beautiful in the fresh snow....especially my beautiful, happy children! And my sweet puppy too....Jack loved the snow!

 

And after hours of fun it was back in side for hot chocolate with whipped cream...and an afternoon in our pajamas...the boys even played Barbies with Sk and Lila...such good brothers!
