It's the little things that mean the most.....

When I pray for these children my prayer is for them to have kind, loving hearts....this is our life...our journey...our Hardy Hearts....

Time with the Timmerings

After the birthday we got home to an empty pantry..and a tired Moma who really didn't want to cook any way...so it was peanut butter and jelly or go out to eat night....so we called the Timmerings and headed up to Karem's!
It was a beautiful night....finally rain free!  We always have the best time with our best friends!

It was just the best time...but the icing on the cake was that Jeremy and Brad met this man with a Porsche..and they chatted and this man saw Jeremy's love for cars.
He he handed him his keys and said...go ahead...take it for a spin.... after back and forth banter of no, I couldn't..sure go ahead....no, I couldn't.....Brad and Jeremy got in the Porsche.
Off they went...Jeremy was on cloud nine!

Isn't that crazy?! who let's a stranger drive their Porsche?! I guess he figured with four kids and a wife standing on the curb..he was sure to come back.  I had my doubts! ;) After we headed over for Gelato to celebrate! It was a night Jeremy will never forget!

The Brothers' basketball party

Rollins rested up this morning because he knew it was going to be quite the party...and it was!
Riggs and Rollins both invited friends to come play basketball with them for their birthday..we had quite the crew!
Spencer even had an alternate play baseball for him so he could come...that really meant a lot to Riggs.
 The boys divided into teams.........

 And the game began!

We had a knock out tournament...
 played dodge ball......

and then did it all over again!

They had an absolute ball..playing, laughing, high fiveing! Boys being boys!We had music going and everyone had a smile on their face! It makes you feel so happy as a moma when you know you are giving your children a moment.....a memory you know they will carry with them forever.

When it was over the boys got up on the stage and they threw bags of kettle corn to their friends.....the stickers said...Hope you had a ball!

 I think everyone did!

Ballet Pictures

Today Sk had her ballet pictures!
I loved getting her ready...and putting on a little make up! She loved the lip -lips the best!
JuJu and Sk looked beautiful heading off to get their pictures taken! The count down to the recital begins!

I'll pick my battles

Today Lila and I went to Goshen to take some things to Riggs. She insisted on wearng her dress up shoes..they are too big..and she had them on the wrong feet. She clipped and clopped the halls of the school...all the way to Mrs. Parrott's room. It was the longest...loudest....journey ever!  I have to pick my battles with this one...and this was not one I wanted to pick!
At least Riggs thought she was funny!

Royal Wedding

Happy History Happened today! I got up at 4 am to watch the Royal Wedding...and I am so happy I did! Kate looked beautiful in her dress..and I know she was wishing I was there to share her day with her. ;)
She is every little girls' dream...walking down this isle as a common girl with love in her heart and a wish to be happy....
and at the end of the isle...is her prince...who looks at her with love...and tells her she is beautiful...
With the slip of a ring on her hand...she becomes a princess and the happiest woman in the land!
A carriage ride and the world celebrates her happiness! Their happiness and the promise of a happy life full of love!
Sk woke up as they  got in the carriage and she was mesmerized by the beauty and magic of it all!
She sat together in our pajamas and watched the crowds cheer with joy!
And the first kiss!
One day Sk...one Day! I am already praying for your prince charming!

Mrs. Parrott's Baby Shower

Preparations were made for a lovely shower to celebrate a baby who is already loved by so many...

I even got a cake approved for the shower...and it was beautiful...and delicious!!

The children, after they were served their cake and were given their "Baby Boy" water,...raised their water for cheers for Mrs. Parrott and Anderson!

We watched a video of the advice they had written for her...the advice was sweet...and funny....and precious!
We played a game where Mrs. Parrot won many baby items for Anderson from diapers to gas drops. We presented her with the book basket..and she was thrilled! The kids were excited to show her their books...this will be a gift she will treasure for a very long time. Evey time she snuggles up with Anderson and opens up these books she will think of the love and kindness she was showered with by these kids.
The kids then gathered for the opening of the gifts! They were truly excited for her!
One of the gifts Riggs got her was a Goshen Gator onesie! Too die for!
The kids then read their advice for her one at a time...so sweet!

The kids absolutely love Mrs. Parrott.....she is an absolutely amazing teacher and person. She is good and kind and will be an amazing mother to this lucky little boy. Because they love her..they love Anderson. They are so lucky to have been able to go on this journey with her.
We can't wait to meet you, Anderson...you are already loved by so many!
